One for Rich or anyone else? Colour magic and stone chips?

  ph1 172 Black
Hi.

I currently have Autoglym SRP, EGP, Bumper care, Vinyl care, Leather cream, Zymol shampoo, and some Colour Magic black.

Now someone said since my bonnet has quite a few stone chips (ph1 miles!) I should use some Colour magic on the bonnet and then seal with EGP. Don't seem to see positive opinions on here about coloured waxes so I'm not sure. I used it before and was fine but I do want a good deep gloss. Am I wrong to use Colour Magic after SRP and then add a layers of EGP?

After some will probably get the bonnet and bumper sprayed but for now I don't have the cash (new kitchen is on my missus' shopping list.)

Just looking for some views on this since colour magic does take the whiteness off of the stone chips but I don't want to dull the rest.

Thanks all

It does not really work that well, ends up drying a odd colour in the chips. You could give it a go and see how it goes.

Better off touching the worse ones in with a touch up stick.

Thanks Rich.

Tried it not too bad. Touched up plenty but SRP always seems to get stuck in. I'm using Megs pads and MF cloth to wax. How much pressure should I apply when using pads. Always been quite gently as only used cloths before put these pads seem good and very soft.

Cheers.

  Better than yours. C*nt.

Not too far down the road from me mate I assume with you being in Derbyshire.

If you get a touch up pen, and chuck me £20 for materials, I'll have a go as I could use a car to demo in my brochure.

Cheers,

Mike
