I'm massively out of touch with building Web sites, I've even forgotten the basics.

Made a one page Web site in dreamweaver, nothing fancy. How the fudge to I get it live?

I've made a new folder under public_html and called it opticalmounts

And that's where I got stuck, all advice welcome

Hmmm. You've not uploaded all the files more than likely. Drop me a PM and I can have a butchers for you at some point tomorrow.

all the files? for what new or old web site?

I just need a single page to sell a few bits, but am struggling.

Looks like its gone quite wrong? may I ask why you are using PHP rather than just static HTML?

I'm not to bothered about the original site at the mo, just wana get this single page up and running.

as for your question ive no idea and that's cos I don't get the question :)

Does the new page comprise of just a single htm/html file?

Are there any settings for the language the site is written in?

its just a single dreamweaver file (htm)at the moment.

as for language?

helpful I know

erm i guess if you've put the file in the correct folder and its the only file there then it must be a configuration issue.

I'd take typhoon up on his offer to look at it for you.

I am such a fooking bell end.........

the worlds biggest bell end

an utter bell end

I might have made a typo in the new folder I made in the ftp!
(red faced)
