Opinions of my detailing processes please!

Have my friends Honda EM1 to do a full detail on.
Heres the list, those in the know tell me what you think with regards to products/suitability please!

wash etc etc
Clay with CYC polyclay and Chem Guys LUBER!
SRP by machine (Maybe sonus SFX-2 or 3?)
CG Wet Mirror Finish
CG JetSeal 109 (x2)
Colly 476/CG XXX (x2)
Wipe down with CG Pro Detailer+


New look trim gel on rubbers
Rain X on glass

Looks oright to me. Remember to rewash after claying though.

Depending on what level of paintwork correection you want i would use something other then the SRP

id love to be able to correct it but hes cagey about letting me loose on his with the machine! i tried to tell him that its the least aggressive around but hey...
honda paint is quite soft too apparently so i dont think it would take much correction although thats not really the object in this case rich!
what do you suggest, ive got megs #80 #83 and the SFXs in my armoury

If its badly swirled then use the megs 83/80 . But if your mate doesnt care then SRP should bring up a nice job. Concentrate on this part as all the other products in your list wont make a massive difference to the finish. Be careful with red as you may see holograms etc easier if not done properly.

Just use jetseal not the Wet mirror finish.
use 476 over XXX.
I wasnt too keen on pro detailer but its not bad as a wipe down but it has some wax in it. Try either megs or CG synthetic detailer.

Also clean rubbers/tyres well, with poss APC and sponge before trim gel etc.

If he is worried about the paint being soft try #80 on a polishing pad.

Really? i think its one of the best around, i like the fact you get a bit more protection from it and it was much easier to use with me than Carwashnwax's own brand version made by CG also. I took the own brand back for the pro detailer!
