Opinions on RE050's!

  172 Cup
I know there's plenty of threads on tyres, but RE050's never really seemed to get challenged. I fancy sticking to 195/45R16 size so that limits my options!

Its really between PS3's/Pzero Nero's/or the RE050's

Only I can get hold of a pair of the RE050's for a pretty good price!

There not actually that bad for a road tyre. Obviously there are tyres out there a lot better but long as there priced withinn reason there isn't really a fault for what they offer.

My ST came shod with these.

After 8k road miles including one blisteringly hot trackday and I still have 5.5mm on the rears and 5.0mm on the fronts (after one rotation). They should be good for 15k miles easily.

Wet grip is very good, dry grip is very good, progression is very good, road noise is good (low), ride quality is good.

When this set has finally worn out I'll be getting another set without hesitation.

Cheers for the Replies guys! I'll be getting them bought ASAP!

Edit: turns out one has scuff marks worthy of failing an MOT. Damn..
