Opinions on this cheapy headunit??

I'm thinking of getting one of theseas I'm looking for a really cheap headunit to play mp3 cd's (on a budget and wanting t o play some tunes as I've only got a crappy standard headunit.) Do you think the sound quality would be all that bad?

I'm not too bothered as long as it wasn't really s**t as I would just be running it through the standard speakers. I also like the idea of the usb/memory card slots.

Has anyone bought one of these or similar off ebay?

will it work over here? u might need a fm band expander etc like jap imports do

What's the band expander and how much are they?

Do they only have limited FM frquencies or something that don't include those that we use over here?

if you are going for the cheapest get something like this

as most of the flea bay crap is worse than standard

check out the Pioneer unit that Dink posted, i installed one for my uncle, not a bad unit for the price and sounds better than the standard unit anyway.

Yeah I know about the postage costs.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do because as I say I just want something that'll play my cd's and also liked the idea of plugging a usb into it and playing from that. I put a post in the wanted section on here but haven't had much in the way of replies. I'm not really looking for amazing quality but at the same time don't want it to be absolutely shite.

dont do it, you can get what cheap ones from halfrauds now like £80 or something. you will regret it even through standard speakers. i recommend a pioneer link Dink said.
