try taking your sim card out turnin the phone on without it in.. letting it get to the screen where it says put in sim or use in offline mode (dependent on which phone you have) then take battery off again put your sim back in and try again just performs a soft reset on the network..

Might be a problem with orange, had this a few months ago and it sorted itself out after a couple of hrs.

Had this most of the day, seems to be sorted now though.

I checked the website, there was nothing on there either.

I couldn't get hold of my mum on Orange either.
