Ok. So I cancel my contract, request an unlocking code for the phone and they'll charge me 20 quid for the pleasure of the code - fair enough, I already knew about this.
So I phone up last night asking where the code is and I get "Oh, sorry - the customer service representative typed in the wrong IMIE code so the correct one was only entered 2 days ago"!
She was then saying there is nothing she can do, I was livid because they're charging me 20 quid and they're the ones who have messed up and I'll now have to wait longer! So my conversation then went:
Me: Can I speak to your supervisor?
She: There isn't one available.
Me: Can I speak to your supervisor?
She: There isn't one available.
I then followed whatever she said with "Can I speak to your supervisor?"
Eventually she got the hint, put me on hold and came back about 3 minutes later saying that because of the c**k up they're waiving the 20 quid fee.
Quite happy with that, but I'm so glad I never have to use these muppets again!
