Orange to start selling the iPad 3G

If they do sell them for £200 each, then depending on the contract etc, I may sell the 16Gb and "upgrade" to the 3G!

I wouldn't bother with taking one out before the 2nd gen' iPad is available and even then I wouldn't tie myself into a contract for it..18/24 month minimum, isn't it?

If it's £20, then 18x20 = 360 + 200 = £560. When the iPad is £529 for the base 3G.

So that's not bad, not bad at all. But I don't think the deal will be that good. Demand for the iPad is big enough as it is, so they have no need to make it 'cheap'

If it's £30 a month then people will still pay that. I think that's a more realistic price point.

Data price is a bit heavy for what you get

Works out at £799 for the basic over 2 years.

Or buy it for £494.01, 1GB tariff on O2 @ £10/month = £734.01 over 2 years
