origin b2 installation advice

just bought one, need advice on best places to fit or any other little things that are useful.

you can keep it in the glove box when not using it, and when you want it... just push the B2 clamp in the gap benieth your car stereo. It fits in there prefectly, and means you can hide it in the glove box

oh, just realised yours is a Mk2 172.

not much help im afraid, unless there's another gap in a panel to wedge the stand into?

Here's what I did with mine...

The main unit

The laser detector

The GPS aerial (including random chav)

Power feed

All very straightforward...took about 1 hour total to do.

Tips? Be sure of where you want the main unit before you use the adhesive to stick the cradle down...it's very, very strong.

my laser detector is different.lol. i have swapped the cable over to right side of stand now, so gonna stick it to dash with something.

also think that gps aerial is better in the rear window.

yeah i have mine installed as above, but with the gps antenna in the rear window, but that's because i have the navigation gps on the dash.
