Original SAT-NAV antenna

Anyone out there who got an original SAT-NAV system, where is the antenna installed?

I am thinking to replace my original FM antenna on the roof of my 182 with an multi FM/GPS antenna and was wondering whether the original Renault SAT-NAV antenna would be just the ticket?

I believe it will hit the cup spolier if you have that fitted. Shorter struts of the Trophy may sort it now though.

I have the standard 182 spoiler. I was probably one of the only ones who didn't go for the "extra" large spoiler! Replacing the standard FM antenna with a dual GPS/FM roof antenna seems to be a logical move, but I can hardly find any after market ones... aside from an obscure page which I can't read in German!

Is it a difficult job to remove the underside of the roof to get at the antenna and its cabling? I suspect that it might be a major job full of possible disasters...
