Out of curiousity how much HP would my car have lost over the years?

  Clio 1.2 Extreme.
Yes i know it's a 1.2 but i haven't got much today and i'm quite curious. My 52 plate clio origaially has 75 BHP i think it was? Anyone got any idea on how much HP it should have lost? It's just clicked on 72k was on 66k last summer, and i think i got about 99/100 on a relevantly flat road? Any good?

I was going to roller my 1.2 this month just for the lols, I was expecting to have lost about 10bhp.

The figure can vary so much that it's not too easy to predict, some engines lose hardly any power whereas some lose it hand over fist.

Too hard to say mate.

If it has been looked after, not thrashed from cold (ie left a good 15 mins for the oil to warm) and serviced regularly then there is no reason why it won't have it's quoted power.

If it has been abused, then it may have lost power

Good answer! The prev owners didn't really know much about cars so god knows whats happened in the past

How much are rolling roads even to go on?

Depends, if you're on your own it can cost more, but I was going to go on as part of a rolling road day, at £20 a go.

We have a Kangoo 1.5dci at work and its one that the lads always use when were busy so gets thrashed from cold everywhere, feels so much faster than the others though!
