Folks

Does anyone know how to set up an out of office email reply using outlook 2007?

I swear it would be easier to s**t in the queens handbag.

I really appreciate any help in advance

go to Tools,
Options,

then a box appears witth loads of tabs, Mail Setup or Format you need, then it will say Out Of office Assistant,

I think.. not in work now soz

It is.

Aparently outlook uses a system called exchange (which we don't have) and we don't have the the right back end?!

Lovely.

Thanks for efforts anyways...

LOL @ trying to set up OOF without Exchange.

I suppose you could always set up a rule to automatically reply to every message saying you're on holiday etc...
But then you'd have to leave your computer on and Outlook running for however long you're away.
