Outer CV boot passenger side

Is it possible to change the outer cv boot on the passenger side driveshaft? or is it quicker/easier to change the whole shaft?

I just done my lower ball joints and they were a pig, ended up tearing my damn cv boot!

Changing the shaft is easier but more expensive.
