Over Run Map

Hi i bought a 172 sport. and it came with a over run map. so anything over 4k it pops n bangs. just wondering if theres a way of getting rid of it. Reset the ecu? thanks

Not sure if that will remove the overrun map..

Or get a RS tuner, or a custom remap.

if you mean discnnecting the battery then no it wont get rid

No it'll have to be re-mapped

You either need to remove it with an RS Tuner box or take the car to JMS.

When I had mine done JMS offered the option of taking it off free of charge.

I assume you would need the original invoice for this though

You can put a normal map back on with a RS tuner. Pretty easy if you know anyone with one.
