Overspeed Alarm

Hi, maybe someone can help me. I have a 2003 Sport - non sat nav. It has an annoying alarm that sounds at around 120km/h. Is there a DIY fix or is it a dealer/auto electrician job? I cant seem to reset this via the normal onboard functions controlled from the end of the control wand. Cheers from New Zealand!

Cruise/ limiter Switch is next to the ESP switch (by your right knee). Middle position is off.

Either that or it's the highway patrol behind you.

Cut the wire?

Having never actually turned the function on, I guess the noise comes from the clocks, so no chance of cutting the wire lol.

Get it into a specialist who has Clip.

thanks for the input guys. ps this is my new work commute (80km/day over lovely twisty NZ roads) cost $4k (2000pounds?). Missus has a V50 2.4i.
