Trying to fix a laptop for someone....It startsups with the boot menu(Safe mode / last known good .etc)
If i click any of them the laptop just freezes and i was told hes had a virus.....So im thinking this could of damaged the boot sector or partition.
Hes rang packard bell for some master cds but they want £50 for em
Anyone know where i could get these?...Dont want to be paying £50 for them.
When i had a packard bell ages ago...I could make some master cds from the hidden partition on the drive...Is this the case with the new laptops.
Any ideas guys would be great...Thanks
