paddle Clutch trouble

I have used a paddle clutch in my Clio 172 rally car with no trouble for the past 3yrs, and 2 mounths ago I replaced the friction plate as the old one was worn, after two events the cover plate (which I had never replaced and I think was a megane 2 ltr 16v standard cover) started to come to bits. So I splashed out and got a replacement from the same firm, only thing is now is it slips at 6500rpm, and to add more hassle I'm rallying at blackpool on saturday. what clutches does anyone else use or have you ever had similar probs ?

i would recommend you talk to supplier or ktec racing to sort you out.

I've got a helix group n on mine, still works great considering the pounding i've given it round tracks!

Yes well thats what I have , spoke to them today and they are sending me a different plate so hopefully that will fix the problem.

we stopped using Helix, we now use Alcon instead (seems much easier to drive with too)
