Paint Help

Hi all,

I would like some help if possible, does anyone know how to get paint off paint?

I have a phase 2 172 and on my passenger side door sill that runs along the middle of my 172 has a blob of redish paint on it. Its not very big but has anyone any solutions as to how to get it off without ruinning my paint work???

I dont think its big enough to warrant paying for a body shop so i would like to DIY it if its poss>???

Would T-Cut work or would it just shallack the paint in to the silver?

Any help or advice would be grately appreciated.

I have Scratch Remover polish, which I have used to remove other cars paint from door dents and this worked well (needs a lot of elbow grease!)

Then use a good quantity of T-Cut to restore lustre and shine to the paintwork again!

go to a valeter for advice! thinners can be used if it is thick to break it down and then a coarse rubbing compound to completely remove it ,then a polish to finish it off . probably charge you a fiver
