paint/laquer bubbling, how can i sort it? pics in thread.

as you can see from the pics the top layer of laquer is bubbling and coming off. any ideas on how to sort this or a rough price for a garage to sort it.

any ideas welcome

You could probably buy another car for the cost of putting the paint right.

I used to work at a garage and they have a bodyshop, i might nip up and see what they say

Is it possible to wet sand out the worst of it, just an idea, not sure if it is possible.

Bubbling suggests that it's coming up from underneath the paint work, so you could wet sand, but you'd be going through the paint to sort the problem ;)

Looks like you have bits of laquer missing all over the show!

As said, spray jobby ^ Which IMO is a waste of money, especially on a car you probably have no future with.

Hi mate thats microblistering, obviously the panals been painted before, and its moisture in the layers of paint/ Can happen for a number of reasons, but more commonly when painters don't use a decent water trap on their compressor, you wouldn't notice it until you get a cold batch of weather or loads of rain and the moisture expands, greating small blisters and in turn lack of adhesion/ i.e paint flaking off.
Strip Respray the relevant panals and possibly blend into the adjacent panal is the only option.
