Paint match doors to front wings on a 182?

I have been to look at a racing blue 182 today for my sister and i was wondering if it was usual for the wings to be a slightly different shade to the doors? I put it down to the fact the wings are plastic and the doors metal and its just the way they are? We later went to see a arctic blue and a silver 182 and these both looked to be different shades as well. Looking at the bumpers as well they seemed to be slightly different to the surrounding metal work.

Yes it's normal, and that is the exact reason for it, painted plastic is always a slightly different shade to painted metal. Hondas are the worst for bumpers not matching the metal wings/quarters.
