paint stripping on strut brace

i am struggling with stripping the paint off a strut brace

any advice off any one?

Sand paper, you will be there forever

Shot blast it, again does take abit of time

Tried nitromors paint stripper?

i gotta look into paint strippers local to wolverhampton - not sure what it would do to it

Blasting and powdercoating is quickest option and will give a durable finish. Pretty cheap too if thats all youre getting done

Yeh get it dipped, esp if its powercoated it will be very hard to remove even with a sand blaster.Obviously we can paint it back up for you, we did a set recently for someone else. Why remove the paint anyway? is it failing?

it was chipped and starting to show surface rust

just wanna smarten it up and change the colour

Probably best to sell it buy another one, There not that expensive anyway

Id just sand out the chips and rust well to bare clean metal, metal etching primer, primer, colour , clear coat, Bling Bling!. If you want it perfect , get someone to dip and strip then same process as above. If you get it sand blasted they will pit the hell out the metal if its powder coat and you'll still be sanding for a life time to get it out.

But yeh as above, by the time you've bought the primers etc it might get expensive.....if you wanted it done professionally drop me a PM, if you arent too fussed about colour we might be able to do something.

I bought the paint etc for it already brace only cost me 20 notes
