paint touch up???

i have bought a halfords paint touch up kit. its the perfect colour. i got primer , colour and laquer but how the hell do i do it without it turning out to look like my little brother did it with a crayon:dapprove:

I wouldn't bother with the primer or the lacquer . Just use the top coat , 2000 grit wet n dry then Megs scratch X . Worked ok for me .You don't need much pressure with the wet n dry , just a light pressure , let the wet n dry do the work . Make sure you've cleaned the area well , remove any old polish , wax etc ...... fairy liquid will clean it well .

Patience is the keyword , build up the layers slowly and leave to dry .
