Painted Calipers

Car  172 Ph2 Flamer
Been wanting to do it for a while only got round to doing the 1 today but
will all look the same in the end heres how it turned out...

And while i was waiting for paint to dry thought i would give the inside
of the wheels a clean not great but much better then before

tomorrow when i finish the rest. :)
 
looks good i painted the little bit of the hub on mine which you can see through the wheels.

use a brillo pad to clean the inside of the wheels and some fairy powerspray worked well. once you waxed them inside they stay clean though and the dirt just wipes of with a sponge and some water next time

looks good mate, how many coats you give them, i gave mine two as i thought that was enough and looked spot on...
 
Thanks, it was hammerite smooth finish and only used wheel cleaner for the wheels and hot soapy water
 
awesome, great work cleaning the wheels too!!!...... did mine last weekend but couldn't get anywhere near that clean.... mind you, i did just have a bucket, water and a very achey arm though!

good tip. suppose we should know its much easier to clean your car if its polished often.

Any tips on how to clean the carbon off stainless steel. As i have a dirty layer on my exhaust.

any way look good, inspired me to do mine.

get under there with some fairy liquid or similar first and a brush to shift some of the crap then i think you need metal polish called autosol and some wire wool to polish it all off
