Painted Calipers...

Car  Seat Ibiza
I really fancy painting them, they are red at the moment but they are standard! So I'm thinking black...if they were 6pot bembros then they would be line green, but I can't afford them yet :(
Anyone got any pics of some coloured Calipers that look good on a blue 172?
Cheers
San

I did mine this weekend in dark grey, just to tidy them up. With Revels, not big or cool enough to show off on the clio, so keep them subtle...

just hammerite, thought it would look better than what was there... brushed it on and it actually smoothed out nicely, no brush marks etc.

I've always used Hammerite in the past.

Infact i used their dark blue on my VTR and it was a very close match to the Mauritius Blue body of the car. Looked different yet subtle :)

Ive just done mine in halfords blue engine laquer and it came out pretty good after 2 coats

I picked up a little pot of hammerite today, £8. Bargin! Will crack on next weekend!!
Yeah, they are bigger than most cars, but they are still standard...! Red looked alright, but I think black will look good!

laguna calipers on a tiny clio, self explanitory. id love 28 pot brembos but my budget doesnt stretch that far so i make the best of what ive got, and besides my calipers/ discs fill the space in my wheels

Thought you had standard calipers, didnt realise you had uprated ones.
Lime green would be good, but I think black will be alright!

Nah you missed my point, if I had massive Brembo's, they'd be green.
Black it is, i've bought some black paint now, so that's what they are going to be :)

Someone's painted mine already, so I was going to clean mine with some emory cloth, so most of the red has gone, then clean it with some brake/clutch cleaned so i've removed most of the dust.
