I would fake leather the fabric parts myself, which is what I intend to do, just didnt want the door cards left ugly grey :dead:

Would need a smooth finish for the paint to stick properly i assume. Would take hours of sanding to get it smooth.

What about door cards from a mk2 ph2 aren't they more black?

Just get a spare from a scrappy and try it first. You'll need to key the plastic first at least otherwise the primer wont take properly, so sand them back to a smooth-ish finish. buy some Halfdords filler primer, use that and you'll get a decent finish at that stage, wet flat that, then use some of that wonderful textured paint B&Q sell and hey presto, sehr cool door cards.

edit: They dont do it in black but this is what I was talking about http://www.plasti-kote.co.uk/Product/pcode---4669
