Painted Engine Cover

Finally got around to painting my engine cover.

Decided to go for two shades of Blue, just need to apply the clear lacquer now.

Now i need to decide what to do with the Inlet Manifold. Do i Paint or Polish it?

If painting then what's everyone's opinion on colour ?

or

If polishing then can anyone recommend anywhere around Kent ?

Well i was doing it Black but it was a bit boring. Then i thought about Red and Black, but thats already been done a few times.

So i decided on a Blue Cover and all Blue Accessories (Hoses, Strut Brace etc)

Did you go down halfords and get the paint made up and put in a spray can or did u do it another way!?

Just bought two cans of paint from Halfords, I can't remember the names exactly. I think one was Vauxhall Arden Blue (Pearlescent) and the other was Ford Moon-something Blue (Also Pearlescent).

I'll have a look at them tommorow and tell you.

Just bought two cans of paint from Halfords, I can't remember the names exactly. I think one was Vauxhall Arden Blue (Pearlescent) and the other was Ford Moon-something Blue (Also Pearlescent).

I'll have a look at them tommorow and tell you.

The Dark Blue (Bottom Half) is Vauxhall Arden Blue

The Light Blue is Ford Light Sapphire Blue

I think polishing would be best (i've even got a spare inlet)

I'm not confident enough to do a DIY job though and i don't know anywhere near here where i can get it done.
