painting callipers and drums

Hey guys, was thinking of painting my break calipers and rear drums. Anyone done this? do i just give them a couple of coats of car spray paint? Does it matter that the rear drums are rusty?

Use engine paint. cheaper than proper caliper paint. small tin costs around £5 and will last ages.

Clean the loose rust off first.

you can use hammerite as well but if when doing the front DONT get it on the disks

make sure u prep it propperly first, get the rust off etc.

I used hammerite, cost me about a fiver and its made a great job, looks a lot tidier now.

what colour??? thinkin of re-doing mine but want a bright red. do hammerite do a bright red??

i painted my old rocker cover with red hammerite and it was fine!
