painting door handles...

  3 Series touring
hey, how easy is it to to this (i.e can they be removed and if not is there any way to paint them?

cheers

They can removed, it takes a while to figure out how you remove them though and then when you have figured it out, takes forever to get the door cards off! I must have gone through about 2 layers of skin on my fingers removing it... once you figure out how to get the handles off though it's easy peasy.

not really worth it thten eh? seeing as they are alreasy black on a black car...thanks, il just do side strips then.

I did mine and am happy, if you can get the doorcards off then it's just 2 screws and a clip and you gotta fiddle it out.

cheers for that, while im here, would a rs front bumper be a direct fit to a 1.2? ive read some guides that say it needs slight tweaks, some people say its a pain in the arse and others say its no problem at all?

Yes fits direct to a 1.2 but you need to either buy the 1*2 archs aswell or modify your 1.2 arches... you also need ne arch liners aswell.
I will be posting a rep guid in the next few weeks mate when mine has been fully resprayed.

It looks loads better with the RS arches too, well worth it imo but then you'll need wheel spacers/side skirts to finish it off.

Agreed, JME, what spacers are you running? I'm hunting around for some atm =]
Get my alloys out of the RS arches a bit...

25mm Delta Mics (that's the name of the manufacturer)

Search it on Google, I think the site is 'lkperformancestyling' and they are about half the price of the same FK or H&R ones.
