Painting insides!!!!!!

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT

Right car looks as below, as its stripped out all the time!

im wanting to paint it satin black whereva it is currently red, then get some nice carbon goodies to cover the rear arch holes, and that!

question is, its not an easy job (as i found out today) to paint it as some of the bits are difficult to get to.

im using hammerite at the mo in a spray can, but mi old man reckons id be better off brushing it on. thing is i dont want brush marks, i want a smooth finish like with a can! he reckons hammerite wont leave brush marks, but im not convinced!

any recomendations? cheers

You can brush it on if you get the smooth version, Id go for a satin black finish.

If you spray it you have to worry about masking it all up first / stripping the remaining parts of the interior.

Have you asked a local bodyshop how much it would be to give the insides a few coats of satin black ????

body colour will be expensive i think, unless i can find the pug yellow in halfords. I dont know exactly what pug yellow it is though

hmmm iv done a bit in satin black just to see and it looks good, but like u say dunno if it might be a bit too dark and that!

problem is i was gonna use hammerite cos its stronger, doesnt require priming, etc either!

any thoughts?

cheers
