Painting interior.

Is it possible to remove and paint this part high lighted? i want to paint it silver like the strips around it ?

yes mate its really easy. Take out the radio, and the little diagnostic cover, then just pull the whole thing forwards!

Is the diagnostic cover underneath ?

yeah where it curves down underneath where the hazzard switch is, has a little finger hole to pull out.

Nice one, what do you think i and getting a alpine Headunit its gloss black do you think the surrounds would look naff if they where painted a gloss black or what colour whould you have ?

depends what kind of theme your going for in your car or what colour you like, but gloss black on the strips aswell would look good. Kinda like the interiors in the clio dynamique S. They had a gloss type finish, was more of a dark grey though.
