anoys me how people come up with these stupid fog comments, most people put their fogs on to take pictures, not because they drive around with it on..
anyways looks cool :)

  clio rs 2000
we used black silicone to stick them
be sure that for now it is much more better from oem
there isint any risk to get inside the headlights water or dust

  BMW E46 330i Touring
Quite a common modification in the VW circles from what I've seen too.

Looks cool in itself but I think you need to carry on the looks throughout the car. Would look very cool on a 'murdered out' Clio...

Doesnt painting the reflective insides take away some of the light ? or..?

On a dark colour car i think it would look cool, But on silver it doesnt imo.

for know headlights x1.5
and fog lights x 2 or 3 times brighter
but i am surprized that in uk you dont like black coloured headlights
in turkey they are selling this kind of headlights for most of brands for high prices and people like them so much

  A thirsty 172
That's because in the UK nobody would get away with it.
The police would spot them a mile off and wouldn't hesitate to throw the book at you.

  S4 Avant
mmmmmm no.

that's the kind of thing that annoys me on the road, some prat coming the other way with every possible light on, dazzling the f**k out of my eyes.

will that pass an MOT??

I don't think they will worry about that in Turkey. ;)

Nice idea actually. Probably a bit extreme for a daily driver, but I think that that would look well smart on a track car.

edit - argh! Is that a V6 badge on the very first pic? Oh no, no, no.... :nono:

 this is my friends car
we bought it last week from a renault dealer and in turkey there is 2 v6 one of it had a big accident and the dealer take off from the v6 and stick it to 172;)

Take the V6 badge of it !

I think it looked nice how it was, I do appreciate that you've tried something differnt, but I think they looked fine un-touched.

In fact, they do. TÜV checks the roadworthiness and the rules are pretty strict. Only problem might be the reflective part of the turn lights. Otherwise it does not change headlight pattern/output. Not that I like the painted headlights but, meh.

v6 badge on a 172 should alone be enough for a mot fail though.

  Tangoed Works
there will be no issues with legality as long as the plastic outer lens is not painted over here. the chrome as standard is just there for decorative effect, the reflector is behind the light for the projector so will work just as normal.

looks pretty good imo

im waiting to do this to my headlights , was it difficult to take them apart?
its not difficult but not easy too.
you can use a knife and a thin iron part
put the iron betwwen the glass and headlight and while forcing back the glass cut the oem silicone inside the headlight
after you cut half of it you can pull a part the glass only using your hand.
someone uses hot air while doing this but i dont use because there is no electricity there:)
after that you have to sand the reflector before painting and you can stick them back with black silicone
