I got mine done for £200 all in. Done in gloss black and its a proper job as they were baked in the oven.. If doing them myself I would us a gun as cans as s**te IMO
you can get a perfectly decent finish using spray cans to refurb your wheels, no real need to invest in a spray gun, just take your time especially in the prep work.

yup i used jungle jims guide and it worked great. i done mines in the summer and if it wasnt for curbing my wheels they would still be in mint condition. rattle cans are suffice for the job
Few more questions.
I have some turinis in powder coated black. Of which one has curbing the other is in VGC.
However I want to paint them another colour and wanted to know is it just sand and fill the kerbing and paint ontop of the powder coated finish or should I look for someone who will sand blast them then prime and paint.
mattjk did you clear coat the tyres as well ???
thats one of mine the wheel is not it good nick so i had to shape it with a grinder but you should of seen it before lol
i had to to the edge all the way round mate on 3 wheels, the guy who had the car before he crashed it was a estate agent so he had hit every kurb in london.
i painted my front bumper and wing with spray cans as well and unless i told you you would never no the finish is better than the O/E, its all down to the prep if the prep its crap then with the best oven in the world the finish will be crap.

Start with a proper good wash getting all the dust and crap off, i buy 3 different grades of sand paper so i can get out and scratches or light kerb marks then wet and dry the whole wheel to make sure there is no shine, ground in brake dust or scratches anywhere on the old paint, then just panel wipe the whole wheel again and again then prime.
Im using rough P80 I think then P240 to smooth.
Anything less than that and it felt like paper.
yeh from halfrauds, used about 3 large cans of primer, 6-7 small cans of paint and 5-6 large cans of laquer.
