Panel Filter

Is it worth changing the air filter on my 200. Dont want to remove the box so would just be a replacement panel filter but just wondering if its worth it or just keep the standard one?

If it is any suggestions?

Don't expect a performance hike but I noticed on my 172 that my mpg went down. Good for keeping clean and saves on replacements.
