Paradas being fitted tomorrow

Car  RB 182 with CUP packs
Unfortunately it's time for front tyres.

I toyed with the idea of keeping to OEM PE's, but seeing as Paradas were on my "Next Tyre" list on both my old CTR & DC5 I thought I'd give em a whirl.

The rear PE's will go into storage should the worst happen (Fingers crossed, touch wood it won't) & the 182 will be donning 4 new Yokos.

Looking forward to bedding these in & then pushing on in the dry.

Wet weather performance isn't going to be an issue for me as I'm of the opinion that if you drive hard in the wet you want your head read.

I'll let you know my thoughts after the weekend. ;)

Will be intereted to hear about these, was pondering Paradas before deciding to stick with the PE2s.

I am of the opinion that crap wet tyres are lethal, where as crap dry tyres still perform ok.

However I am sure those paradas will be fine. Plus you are fitting 4. Mixing tyres on a hot hatch is dodgey, again mainly in the rain.

Agreed, but I'm not fitting Toyo 888's lol

Thats why I decided to change all 4 tbh.
Don't agree with mixing tyres full stop on any car.

You can push in the wet as long as you're sensible and have suitable tyres.

My new car has avons (eek) on the front and OE on the back... I am going to rub em out as quick as poss and get some Eagle F1's asap.

My mates Escort Cosworth performed very well on prada's in the dry at Bedford so I imagine you'll be fine.
