parcel shelf

Got a parcel shelf from the scrap yard yesterday as my clio never had one. I got it off a ph1 Mk2 clio 1.2 to fit my 1.6 mk2 ph1,

however, it doesnt fit properly. the boot wont close with it in, any ideas why?

it should fit, right?

It sat in properly at the back?

Has to go back and down

yes, all in correctly and fully seated into its position. Its catching on the bit that sticks out on the boot lid to house the rear wiper motor.

As above, they're all the same size so it's probably not sat quite right.

Push it in properly


EDIT: Hmm, is the boot panel on tight with no gaps around the edges?

think i solved it... i put a little knot in each of the strings attaching it to boot lid to make it shorter, fits now.... weird!! ?
