For a brake pedal sensor on a 182 please.

I have the SERV/ABS/Traction Control lights coming on intermittantly when braking, searching tells me its the sensor. If its not that, any ideas ?

Also, I'm assuming, that replacing this will fix the issue, but i dont have to have it plugged in to clear the fault from the ECU do i ?
