Parts for williams engine rebuild?

I shall be dismantling my williams engine as I believe there to be a valve fault and was thinking of freshening up the engine while I was at it.

What parts should I replace and where is the best place to buy them from? I shall be doing the job with my dad so labour is not an issue. I understand I will need gaskets, head bolts, should do the piston rings, oil seals but wanted to know what else and where to get them from, how much for these parts.

piston rings are about £250 from ren.

You'll need:-
Big end bearings
main bearings
sump gasket
crank seals
camshaft seals
head gasket
head bolts
inlet gasket
exhaust manifold gasket


depends how far you want top go into it really.

May be an idea to change the water pump whilst the engine is out too.& defo do the cambelt/tensioners.

Is it advised to get these parts from Reno or could I get parts from other places e.g. Euro Car Parts?

reno will only rip you off...id go somewhere else. check what other offer for guarrenty tho...

My rings for my B18ft were only £95 so shop around for a better deal
