passenger d/shaft for 172cup

hi, need to buy a passenger side drive shaft for a 172 cup on a 52 plate, dont really want to buy from renault, just wondered if shaft's are the same for just a normal 172(not cup) , does any one kno where is best place to get one from, thanks liam

172 cup has its own specific driveshafts, renault only fella

your best bet is to have it refurbed.mine went on my ff 172 the other month.was a nightmare finding a replacement ,only renault had them in.went to a guy in leeds who refurbed it for me .for 125 pound.

keh? Why would the cup have different shafts?

it does, no idea why they did like that, they're similar to the phs1 172 ones (ie no bracket on the back of the block)

isnt it something to do with different gearbox housing? cups have speedo cable or some shiz?

oem renault will be good quality... well sort of lol

carfy-liam you will get a year warranty with a new renault shaft but not sure how much renault will sting you for it
