Passenger side seat runner

Hi guys.

I'm going to look at a 182 tomorrow and the guy has been fairly honest and said the passenger side seat won't move forward or back.

Is this a relatively simple fix? It is a case of some runners off eBay or could it be something more simple?

Does he mean it doesn't slide back and forth?

Or tilt and slide with the handle to get in the back?

He said it title forward and back but is locked in 1 position for sliding forward and back

Probably easier to just get another set of runners or the cable may of snapped/ become unrouted

if its locked in one position (won't move when when trying to adjust) it will be the little metal clip in the runner snapping. Its a common problem and easy to fix with a second hand runner set for roughly 20 quid.

There's also a common issue of the seat won't slide when using the handle to let passengers into the rear, it'll allow the back of the seat forward but won't slide towards the dash. There's a small round pin that's fallen out and is probably loose under the chair, just needs popping back in.
