Passenger side window problem.

I put the passenger side window down earlier and there was a clonk and it refused to go back up.
I ve had the door card off and had a look and theres this white bit that runs up or down when you press the switch, which obviously pulls or pushes the glass. This was right at the top so I lifted the glass out and placed this bit underneith, the window goes up fine and this bit holds it up, but the window doesn't go down, this bit is obviously meant to attatch to the glass somehow?
Any ideas how to fix it, im fed up of this car already.

yeah there crappy, you need a whole new regulator and motor. there is a yellow clip that attches to the glass, above it is the cable that moves the window up below it is the cable that moves it down. Its impossible to get the regulator without the motor.

Typical, I guessed it was probably the regulator, thats not going to be fixed then till after christmas, french sack of s**t.

mines done exactly the same mate...

All the door and wires are mangled and all the clips on the window are broke.

iv just wedged my window up with a block of wood while after xmas. its fubard. Need to 'rebuild' the whole electric window thing.

Mines not mangled all seems intact, the little thing that moves it up and down is holding the glass up atm, tempted just to go and trade the fucker in.

At least when i fix it i know it will be done properly. Regulators are only 40 pounds of joshydee.

Fixed it
Just needed a replacement fork, the bit that attaches to the glass, total cost, £1.07.
