Paypal - eCheques??? WTF?

Just got a payment through on my paypal account. Some dude who bought something form me on ebAy.

The transaction is "uncleared" bacuse the dude paid using eCheque....what the hell is a eCheque?
Obviously i aint gonna send out the good until it has cleared...

Is the dude a fraud...says his address is confirmed, and paypal protected...hmmm....

Estimately to clear on 29th Dec.....

echeque is money transfered from a bank account rather than a credit/debit card.

eCheque sounds odd, e-mail them and ask them wtf it is!

Its when he hasnt got the funds in his account, and hasnt set up his card.

So he transfers the money to his account, and then sends you an echeque. Just have to be patient and wait for it to clear.

If you click on the payment, it will tell you when its clear! they'll email you to let you know its cleared aswel.

its just the same as you writing a cheque from your cheque book, it will take 3 to 5 days to clear into your paypal account, its actually better because least you know when you get the money it is in your paypal account and not paid by a fake credit card

Thought it was being conned via paypal.....AGAIN!!

This paypal malarky is so unsafe for sellers....whether your in the right or not, they carry on taking money back out.

Don't worry about it. It's the only way I can pay by paypal as I don't have a credit card or debit card. Can take upto a max of 14 days. Usually takes 10 days to clear. Always wait for it to clear before sending anything off though
