PC for paint chip repairs?

I'm thinking about buying a PC and was wondering what kind of job it will do on some touch ups i've got to do on the bumper and bonnet??

Will a PC make that much difference or am i gonna be as well off polishing by hand after ive rubbed the infills down and flattened them off??

After the wet sanding a machine will make quicker work of the sanding marks left behind.
