PC HDD dead want to copy iPod to new PC

My PC died and required me to format it, therefore i lost my iTunes library.

My ipod's full of stuff and want to copy it back to my PC.....how can I do this without paying for some 3rd party software?

iDump should be fine, although I've never used it. I use iPod Copy but it's $20 unless you look elsewhere.
