tried a couple of games with DrRollo lag wasnt too bad but the di@ks on the other side were constantly noob tubing i could get a decent killstreak.

and tried a couple with seb and the lagg was awfull so i turened it off yet again that's it for tonight.

what a discrace, so you say its not MW2 fault it our internet connection??

I dont know what it is but IMO I have a very good internet connection, both my ping and d/load and u/load speeds have to be up there as being one of best "residential" supplies in the Country. I have the 360 hard wired to the router so that rules out any wifi issues, not that there would be any anyway and it just really pisses me off that scum, yes scum in this Country that have poor internet get the upper hand, and 8/10 times its a load of kids who think they are John Rambo FFS!!

It always seems to be someone from the UK as well who is really lagging, it rarely happens to be anyone foreign, which I wouldn't really be to bothered about!

during the day my connection is spot on lagg free, but on a night it's terrible i'm on ADSL and few times a day my connection re sets itself like looses connection and boots back up. im with tiscali and i really want to leave them but im not sure if i do leave this might solve the lagg problem

As I say the game seems to favour players with an "inferior" connection, no offence lol so thats probably why you dont experience much lag when playing on your own.

Its been "lagging" like this for me for the past few months, not every game but certainly more bad games than good.

done well there Kingyboy, i prefer ump45 going lightweight, and aslo i tried tac knife with the desert eagle, wow in a bad way too much kick. i should try using the magnums.

With ADSL your limited on how far you are from your local exchange with regards to what speeds you are likely to achieve.

I would look into who you can go with, who's in your area, what speeds you can etc etc.

i just got the 2500 kills the ump today so im pretty chuffed with that

As I thought, with that kind of ping you are joining with alot of other people with a similar connection and you are less likely to notice much lag, where mine sometimes struggles to find me any games with a <50 ping so I get put in with people who are on a higher ping and I always seem to suffer. Its the same with a mate who is also on 50Mb VM who lives local to me.

when i join a game during the day its round about 80-100 ping only me playing and during the night it's allways 100-110 ping with only me and others

What I mean is when your playing on your own in the day the game is managing to put you into your "suitable" ping threshold if you like which is 80-100 and the lag is fine but when you play of an evening and with others the game is putting you into lobbies of a higher ping as that is what is available at the time, which is understandable as the are more people playing etc etc.

With me, what I am saying is that my ping is only like 13-16ms and the game should be putting me in with people of "similar" connections, <50 ping but most of the time as of late it isn't and its me who suffers.

Thats Virgin ADSL by the sounds of it, can you not get Virgin Cable?

TBH mate, if you are happy with your current broadband i.e speed, price etc etc then I wouldn't change it just for COD, hopefully it will get fixed/sorted sooner or later and go back to the way it was where it is playable for most, nearly all

Guys, I've come to the conclusion its MW2 which is broken. Probably about 20% of my games at least on MW2 had an issue, either lag, or getting kicked out, or the lobby never creating a game, or it freezing whilst going into a game.

Bad Company 2, been playing about 15 hours now and literally NO connection issues, go straight from one game to another with no waits in lobbies, and despite the levels being FAR larger the collision detection of bullets never fails.

I haven't gone back to MW2 since playing this, 3 weeks dry now

I totally agree. Even though MW2 is p2p based something has definetly happened to cause the ammount of lag and connections issues as of late. BC2 was great online as in the connection, I just hated the gameplay.

MW2 sucks when you try and join a game now.Sometimes, i cant actually get on.

BC2 definitely gets better once you start to level up, give it a few hours until you know what's going on!

I usualy get carried unless im on certain maps.. karachi i always do s**t on and derail.. major fails on both them maps.

Can hold my own on terminal, wasteland and sub base without any problems

Just got a triple with the intervention and then went for another for killcam but some t**t wih tactical knife got it before i fired
