PC to Mac

Well im selling my laptop on eBay atm and looking for a mac, thing is ill be going from a 3ghz 3GB RAM to a 2ghz 512MB RAM Macbook will i find this a bit of a downgrade? Only want it to have a play with iPhone apps and iWeb.

It'll seem faster. Trust me. Spec only tells half the story.

It's all about the OS. A basic MacBook is quick.

Will it still be fast if i run parallels? Doesn't say the year actually i presume its an 06 model comes with latest osx iLife 09 and iWork 08.

Im looking to sell mine for around £250 and get a Macbook for £300-£400

2.06 Core 2 Duo? Must be a base model if it had 512MB.

Looking at a few on the bay this particular one is 1.83 Ghz actuaually.

Just really dont want to spend more to get less.

I find it hard to use a Windows comp now and the waiting for it to start up/shut down is like waiting for paint to dry.
