I'm a bit confused why an industrial 240-110v transformer is needed for these PC kits... It may seem like a silly question, but why cant you use a standard travel adaptor to step down the voltage? Is it a simple problem that the PC kit needs too much power and a standard transformer cannot cope??
I'm looking around and the cheapest is £42 from our company supplier. Some places are even charging silly amounts for extra cable with the 3 pin on one end and U.S. plug on the other... again, is this a simple task of standard wire with standard U.S. spec socket one end, and a 3 pin industrial plug the other?
