Is there a newer version available of the PE2's. I'm due for some new tryes now and i'm getting PE2's just wondering if there's anything else before i buy

If your struggling getting hold of the PE2's mate, Goodyear Eagle F1's (Asymetric) are very very good tyre, dare i say better thasn the PE2's imo.

theyre GSD3's, used to be a good tyre, but have changed since they are now manufactured by someone else, apparantly not the same anymore. Asymetrics are the one to have now. Im going for PE2's in October.

XL tyres are for heavier cars. So your big saloons, MPVs and the like. Not sure if it actually stands for extra load, but i'm sure that's what they are for. You don't need them on a Clio.

Right i think after all the reading i'm going to stay with what i know so will replace my conti sports with conti sports. Is it Conti Sport (1) that are the OEM on the 172? Or CS2 or CS3?

Conti sport contacts are oem on 172. Good tyres I had them on my 172cup but the pilots are awesome and not much more £££.
