i think they are a good find, however has anyone ever used these and has anyone got any alternatives that dont differ too much from the price?

They are fine! I am running these on my non-sport for about 60k miles and they still work great. AP coilovers are in the same price bracket and of decent quality aswell. APs are softer and don't offer the ultimate lows as the FKs.

Had them on my 172 for 6 years, just taken em off one front shocks leaking, one rears corroded at top. but whilst on was fine paid about same too

I had FKs on my first 1.2 and they were great!!
