Performance Air Filter

I own a 172 mk2 and was thinking of changong the air filter and exhaust...... Does this invalidate my UK renault 3 year warrenty and would my insurance company hammer my premium.....

BB Tuning say that it would only improve BHP by 7 - 8 BHP ...... Would you do it?

Well My car, Roamers 172, Mikes 172 all have exhausts (Roamer has a ViperX on his) and Renault arent too bothered about it. If anything major goes wrong (engine blows for example!) Then put the originals back on

Exhaust - doesnt really matter which one you go for, theyre all pretty good

Air Filter - Buy a sealed one NOT an open induction kit (cos itll lose you power) You may need to get the ECU remapped, due to any form of intake moddifcation normally messing up the fueling on the 172 engine (get if checked on the Rolling Road)

Just had a moment of madness and ordered myself a Viper for my 172. Ill give you my honest opinion of it in a few days!
