Permanent solution to starter motor connector corroding?

hi, as im sure you're all aware clios have a problem with the starter motor connector corroding and therefore the car not even turning over.... my queston is ...is there a permanent solution #(other than the sandpaper in my glovebox)

bit of vasoline over the terminal possibly?

i have this problem just not got round to sorting it, clean it up with sand paper, put it back on and put bit of copper grease on it. bit o a pig to get to though on a 172.

it nearly took me all day for me to take out my starter motor does any body know a quick or easy way of takeing the srarter out crs a ph1 172
